The new PowerGrip™ GT4™ rubber synchronous belt has been developed with the same tooth pitch, profile and length and width combinations to offer customers an equivalent replacement for the previous GT3™ version in their applications. Developed with the latest technology and material science know-how, it offers the highest resilience of all belts in its class. Using brand new advanced materials, Gates® has developed an ethylene elastomer belt with increased performance capacity and extended temperature range.

GT4™ compared to previous model GT3™
Anytime a change is made to an existing predictive model there will be areas where the old model and the new model differ. This isn’t to say that the old model was bad or wrong just that it is less accurate than the new one.
