It is part of our quality standards to invest continuously in the further training of our employees as well as in new machines and technologies. This is the only way we can meet customer needs and increasing market requirements.

 

Our manufacturing plants

In order to produce economically, we use controlled and automatic gear cutting machines. Products made of different materials are toothed on a daily basis using hobbing and/or shaping processes. High-performance tools are used to produce the most common toothed belt profiles in normal and low-backlash versions as well as spur gears with modular toothing.

Two sites

Freienbach
The core competence lies in gear cutting. A modern machine park is available for the complete production of toothed belt pulleys, toothed wheels with modular gearing and other drive technology accessories according to customer drawings.


 

Landquart
In addition to a wide range of commercially available toothed belt profiles, the manufacturing company in Landquart specialises in the production of customised toothed pulleys as well as spur and chain wheels according to customer drawings. The area of expertise in day-to-day business includes internal gears, toothed shafts and toothed racks.


 

Types of processing

Sawing, cutting

Aluminium and steel bars up to ø 280 mm as well as hardened profiles (linear guides) are cut to length on modern automatic saws or cutting machines. Especially for the area of linear technology, we have an LQC (Linear Quick Center) at our disposal.

Turning

We can machine workpieces up to ø 500 mm on high-performance CNC lathes and automatic bar lathes with partly driven tools. Among other things, we turn, drill and gear large series up to ø 32 mm completely on CNC sliding headstock lathes.

Drilling, milling

The CNC drilling and milling centres are partly equipped with automatic loading and unloading systems and thus enable precise, efficient production.

Gear cutting

We provide toothed belt pulleys made of different materials with the most common toothed belt profiles, normal or low backlash, as well as spur gears, chain sprockets and products with internal toothing. In addition to complete production, we also offer you the option of supplying us with pre-turned blanks up to ø 750 mm. We then gear these using the hobbing and/or shaping process.

Broaching

An extensive range of broaches enables us to produce standard and special wedge wire. Whether wedge ways in continuous or blind holes: we are equipped for both variants.

 

Manufacturing programme

The focus of both manufacturing companies is on the complete production of toothed drive elements according to customer drawings. Toothed belt pulleys and toothed wheels are our core business.

On request, we supplement the drive elements with other production parts such as toothed shafts, toothed racks, components with internal toothing and clamping plates, for which we use different materials. Heat and surface treatments are carried out by partner companies.

 

Toothed belt pulleys

Toothed belt pulleys in a wide variety of quantities, materials, pitches, numbers of teeth and shapes leave our factory every day.

We work according to our customers' drawings and specifications.

Toothed wheels

Spur gears with straight-toothed modular gearing can be manufactured in various materials.

As with toothed belt pulleys, pre-turned blanks can of course be supplied for gear cutting.

Special designs

Several different tooth profiles can be fitted to one pulley/shaft.

Combinations of V-belt and toothed belt profiles on the same pulley/shaft are thus possible.

Toothed bars for express orders

For express orders, the stocked toothed bars in steel and aluminium are suitable. We can produce toothed belt pulleys from these blanks at short notice.

The large selection of flange rings for guiding the toothed belts completes this range.

Individual parts

Prototypes and small series are part of our daily routine. We manufacture individual parts and small series completely from toothed bars on special NC machines.

This is advantageous when prototypes are required or replacements are needed at short notice.

Series

We manufacture medium and large series on automated production machines. In order to produce large series economically, we use the most modern technology of long turning (turning and drilling from bar including gear cutting).

When concluding framework contracts, you receive more favourable and constant prices, and your storage costs are also reduced.

Assemblies

Our production combines experience from all manufacturing processes in the creation of complete assemblies.

The scope mainly includes combinations of toothed belt or V-belt pulleys and/or roller bearings and other mechanical elements.

Matched bearings

For applications with tapered roller bearings (but also other types) that require a defined bearing clearance or preload in the installed condition, we are best equipped to measure all individual parts and create ready-to-install bearing pairs.

These customised "double-row bearings" no longer require manual and cost-intensive adjustment.

Finish

If timing belt pulleys with surface finishes, heat treatments, special lacquering or with mounted flange rings are required - we manufacture the products according to your wishes!

The products can be marked by laser for identification purposes.

Quality control

Quality control is an integral part of our manufacturing process. On request, we can test your products with our 3D coordinate measuring machine and record the measured values.
